Privacy

The short version: no cookies, no ads, no profiles, and nothing that identifies you.

What this site counts

I count page visits and clicks on the links to Amazon, so I can tell which pages and which emails are useful and which are not. Each count records the page, the website you came from (if any), any campaign tag in the link you used, and a visitor code.

What it does not do

It sets no cookies and loads no advertising or third-party trackers. It does not store your IP address or browser details. The visitor code is a one-way scrambled value that changes every day, so it cannot be linked from one day to the next or traced back to you. The counts are kept on my own server and are not sold or shared. If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, the site does not count your visit at all.

Comments

If you leave a comment on a blog post, the name and message you type are stored so they can be reviewed before they appear.

Amazon

The books are sold by Amazon. When you follow a link there, Amazon's own privacy notice applies.
