An attitude of gratitude
Gratitude List
An attitude of gratitude is one of the most helpful things that can change your life for the better. It does not mean pretending the hard things are not real. It means choosing, again and again, to look at what is also true and good.
No matter where you are in life, there is always something to be grateful for: a roof over your head, a phone call you got to make, a clear head this morning, one more day. When we write it down, the list is almost always longer than we thought, and the more we practice, the easier it gets to see.
Start with five lines. We have begun each sentence for you, so all you have to do is finish it. Tap a starter to try a different one, and add as many more lines as you like.
