About the book

What is inside

A Spiritual Solution was made as a gentle, hands-on companion for anyone moving through recovery, stress or change. It gives a busy mind one quiet job to do: read a short passage, take a breath, and color.

Every artwork page is introduced by a dark, low-glare reflection page. You read the passage slowly and repeat one affirmation to center yourself before you turn the page. Then the art answers the words: an anchor ringed with kelp and shells for safety, roots reaching down through crystal and stone for grounding, a mountain that simply stands while the clouds and snow come and go.

The book is organized around five core pathways: Grounding, Urge Surfing, Radical Acceptance, Letting Go, and Daily Practice.

To anyone quietly rewriting their story, one breath, one stroke, and one day at a time.

Reflect, then color

Each drawing is preceded by a short passage and an affirmation, so the coloring has something to rest on.

Five core pathways

Grounding, Urge Surfing, Radical Acceptance, Letting Go and Daily Practice give the book a gentle progression.

Art that answers the words

The anchor matches the safety meditation, the roots match grounding, the mountain matches storms passing through.

Open, unhurried line art

Clean lines with generous areas to fill. Gel pens and markers have room to work.

From the pages

I am anchored in the safety of this moment.

With every breath, I return to myself.

I am alive, awake, and present in my senses.

I am grounded. I am supported. I am safe.

Storms pass over me, but my strength remains.

A note for gel pens

Gel inks vary from brand to brand. Try each pen on a spare sheet first, and slip a blank page behind the one you are coloring. Then work as slowly as you like.
